For Immediate Release:

Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company presents
the Toronto premiere of
TALK
by Michael Nathanson
15 Performances Only!

Called "explosive" and "provocative" by the Winnipeg Free Press, and "a dynamite play" by the Jewish Post & News, The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company proudly presents the Toronto premiere of Michael Nathanson's TALK, March 3 - 20 only, at St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts. Originally produced at the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, TALK stars Kevin Bundy and Michael Rubenfeld, recreating his role from the Winnipeg premiere.

A thoroughly engrossing examination of both the power of language and the true nature of friendship, TALK is a funny, complex and touching look at a relationship torn apart by clashing views.  A finalist for the 2009 Governor General's Literary Award for Drama, TALK will be directed by Ted Dykstra.

KEVIN BUNDY (Gordon) has appeared in Travesties, Glengarry Glen Ross, Parfumerie, and A Christmas Carol, among others, for Soulpepper; at major theatres across Canada; and for six seasons at the Shaw Festival and three seasons at the Stratford Festival. MICHAEL RUBENFELD (Josh) is a writer, director, actor and producer originally from Winnipeg.  He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Absit Omen Theatre with Hannah Moscovitch and is the Artistic Producer of the SummerWorks Theatre Festival.

TED DYKSTRA (director) has received Dora Mavor Moore nominations as an actor, director, writer, producer and composer; is a founding member of Soulpepper and directed the HGJTC hit Tuesdays with Morrie, which starred Hal Linden and Rick Roberts.  MICHAEL NATHANSON (playwright) is the Artistic Producer of Winnipeg Jewish Theatre who has also been produced in New York, Dallas, Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver and Alberta.

Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company (HGJTC) is Toronto's only not-for-profit Jewish theatre organization, launched in October 2006 by co-founders David Eisner and Avery Saltzman. HGJTC's vision is to illuminate humanity through a Jewish perspective, celebrating and preserving Jewish culture by inviting artists and audiences to participate in live theatre.
