Do it in public at Yonge-Dundas Square!
This summer Yonge-Dundas Square (YDS)
presents an exciting season of free outdoor movies, concerts,
festivals and a vibrant marketplace!
Through original public programming and by hosting
numerous special events, Yonge-Dundas
Square has quickly become known as the heart
of the city. Previous appearances by international luminaries
include Nickelback, Shania Twain, Keith Urban, Beyoncé
and John Mayer. The Square has also been the site for a number
of large scale events including North by Northeast Festival,
Just for Laughs and Canadian Idol Auditions. This year, the
site will host opening weekend celebrations for Luminato, Toronto
Festival of Arts & Creativity.
